Offensive Skills Camp & 3 on 3 league June 19 - July 31, 2012

The SGBA endorses and encourages you to enroll your daughter in Juan’s 2012 Offensive Skills Camp & 3 on 3 League for Girls.

  • Tuesday and Thursday 6/19 - 7/31
  • Grades 4th—6th: 1:00 - 2:00 PM
  • Grades 7th—9th: 2:00 - 3:00 PM
  • Grades 10th—12th: 3:00 - 4:00 PM
  • Grade levels are based on 12/13 school year
  • Fee: $65 for SGBA 4-9th grade members (SGBA is subsidizing $25 per girl member that participated in the 11/12 year.
  • Fee $90 for 10-12th grade and all non SGBA members
  • Held at Shakopee High School.
  • Registration deadline Friday June 19

Shakopee Girls Basketball 1 Week Camp

 The purpose of this camp is to provide campers with instruction of basketball fundamentals.  The camp is coordinated by Shakopee Girls Basketball Varsity Coach Juan Mitchell.  Focus of the camp will be: ball handling, dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and offensive & defensive techniques. Camp sessions include individual, small group, and a variety of contests/games to provide skill improvements.  Grade levels are for the 2011/2012 school year.  Make checks payable to the Shakopee Girls Basketball Association (SGBA).  Registrations are accepted at the Shakopee Community Center.

2012 Hoopology

We wanted to pass along a great summer training opportunity that is available this summer.  Hoopology U which has been training athletes in Shakopee for 10 years is once again offering skill development camps this summer.  The competitive ball handling camp will be offered the same days and just prior to the Coach Juan Mitchell’s Offensive Skills camp.  It is a great way to get two training sessions without multiple trips to the gym.  The shooting camp and attach the rack camp are great ways to take your game to the next level.  Hoopology U has been a great source for Shakopee athletes to take their game to the next level.  Please see the document below for dates, times and registration form.
