Team Webpage and SGBA Code of Conduct

In managing your team’s webpage, please respect and honor your SGBA commitment by following our Code of Conduct. You previously accepted the Terms & Conditions of this policy when registering your daughter for an SGBA program. A copy of this policy can be found in the “Board Documents” webpage of our website and includes a section on social media and internet usage. Thank you for your support and GO SABERS!

SGBA Team Webpage Instructions for Coaches / Team Managers

Each SGBA Team will be assigned a webpage on the SGBA website. Your coach, team manager, parent or volunteer will be able to customize your site and utilize this primary resource for communicating team information. The SGBA website is hosted by SportsEngine, and they provide the necessary tools within our site to assist you in building your team webpage.
Once your team coach has determined who will manage the webpage, they will need to obtain editing rights / access for their respective team page. Follow the two step process below:
  1. If you do not already have a SportsEngine account, you will need to create one (most will already have an account set up through registering your children in SGBA).  If you need to create one, click on the "Login" link at the top of the SGBA homepage to initiate and follow the process to Sign Up.
  2. Once you have established a SportsEngine account, email the SGBA Web Director, sgbaweb@gmail.com to request access to your team page—please copy the head coach on your request and include your name, team name, your position with the team and a contact phone number.
If you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation from sgbaweb@gmail.com, and granted editing rights to your team’s home page. You now have the capability to customize your team webpage!
After logging into your account from the SGBA home page, navigate to your team webpage from the respective program link on the top menu (either “In House” or “Travel”) and then follow the drop-down to your team. On the top banner in the right-hand corner, you will see a toggle button allowing you to switch from “EDIT” and “USER” mode, allowing you to edit the page or review it as a user.
The SportsEngine website provides a comprehensive help section on managing your site, utilizing “Team Pages” and “Page Elements.” Multiple help articles can be found here: https://sportngin.desk.com/ and the On-Demand Training Library has several videos here: https://training.sportngin.com/on-demand. Search for “Site Builder CMS” and/or “Page Elements.” A helpful overview video can also be located in the On-Demand library to get you acclimated with the general site parameters.
Each SGBA team webpage will come pre-loaded with the following tabs by default; Roster, Photos, Videos, and Posts. Additional tabs can be added to include; Game Schedule, Player Stats, Team Stats, etc.
At the bottom of each SGBA webpage, there is a “Help” link which will allow you to send site-specific questions to the SGBA Web Director. In addition, you can contact SportsEngine directly from their website.
